  • We are seeking a skilled Outdoor Space Creator to join our crew.
Job Overview

This position involves the design and construction of outdoor spaces, including hard landscaping, soft landscaping, and play equipment installation. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining existing outdoor areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze outdoor space designs, considering factors such as layout, levels, lawn/artificial turf areas, paths, and planned play equipment locations.
  • Prepare the site by clearing and leveling it, as needed, for hard and soft landscaping installations.
  • Operate and maintain various machinery and tools.
  • Install and prepare reticulation systems.
  • Prepare soil for planting and lawn growth.
  • Install artificial turf, construct gravel and paved areas, walls, fences, decking, play areas, pathways, benches, and play equipment/furniture.
  • Plant trees and other vegetation.
  • Perform concrete work, including formwork, pouring, and finishing.
  • Maintenance tasks: edging, weeding, mulch and sand topping, monitoring and maintaining planted and lawn areas, pruning, blowing, weed control, and timber maintenance.
  • Monitor and maintain grassed and planted areas, including weeding, trimming, fertilizing, watering, and mowing.
  • Ensure the work environment is safe and tidy for yourself, colleagues, and visitors.
  • Adhere to occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in staff meetings when scheduled.
  • Maintain daily timesheets and project records.
