Autism Practitioner Role

This exciting role offers an opportunity to support three young, autistic adults with a busy lifestyle and strong social connections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop personalized support plans tailored to each individual's unique needs.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with individuals you support.
  • Empower individuals to make informed choices using their preferred communication methods.
  • Support individuals to participate in activities they enjoy, such as day trips, local events, shopping and holidays.
  • Assist with tasks that enable individuals to maintain their homes, including paying bills and making important decisions.
  • Encourage and support people to live as independently as possible, including developing life skills and providing personal care when needed.
  • Collaborate with each person, their family, support network, and health professionals to provide holistic support.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure each person's life goals and aspirations are central to their care.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a social care setting.
  • Full Driving License for manual vehicles.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and evenings.
