About the Role

National Intermodal is seeking a Procurement Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis in our Sydney CBD office.

This role reports directly to the General Manager, Corporate Procurement and involves partnering with stakeholders to develop category and procurement strategies, oversee sourcing, and manage contracts across diverse indirect categories.

  • Optimizing contract performance by implementing effective Supplier Relationship Management techniques.
  • Providing expert advice and support on all facets of category management, sourcing, and contract oversight.
  • Managing the execution of a procurement project pipeline, prioritizing tasks and resources to deliver maximum value to the organization swiftly.
  • Reviewing business and supplier relationships within key categories to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing third-party performance.
  • Collaborating with the ERP project team to drive the adoption, refinement, and implementation of new technology and system upgrades.

About You

  • Degree qualification in a related field or substantial equivalent experience with relevant professional accreditation.
  • Able to implement plans and achieve outcomes through direct and indirect leadership, driving change through transformation programs.
  • Capacity to think strategically, solve challenges, and identify pathways to meet commercial, sustainability, and compliance objectives.
  • Familiarity with government procurement frameworks is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized, with robust communication, interpersonal skills, and a keen eye for detail.
