Director of Digital Transformation

We are seeking a seasoned leader to drive innovation and transformation in our Coding Service.
About the Role- The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in Health Information Management or equivalent.
- Experience in Coding and Casemix data collection and analysis is also required.
- A strategic thinker keen to embrace new technologies, with demonstrated experience managing change in a complex environment.
- An open and collaborative approach to working with others, with the ability to build a positive and supportive team culture.
- Strategic Focus:
- To assess current team structure and devise a new structure that supports staff and the wider business.
- To identify risks and develop workforce plans to ensure continuity of service.
- To coach, inspire and encourage Coding team members to excel in their roles.
- To implement AI and other technologies to support the coding process.
- To facilitate digital transformation including the use of the EMR to support coding.
- To manage change within the service while reducing adverse impact on service delivery.
- Expertise:
- To provide expert advice to EH staff regarding coding, AR-DRGs, National Funding Model for admitted activity.
- To ensure EH complies with all internal and external rules and reporting requirements.
- To maintain professional relationships to ensure the Service is compliant and updated on latest initiatives.
To be successful in this role you will have a strong track record of leadership and change management, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
