IT Architecture Leader

The role of the Head of IT Architecture is to drive digital transformation at a large food company by aligning enterprise architecture with business strategy in complex manufacturing environments.

  • This career-defining opportunity involves shaping enterprise architecture, AI & data strategy, and technology governance at a multinational food manufacturer.
  • You will lead technological transformation across multiple manufacturing sites and drive innovation in Australia's largest dairy and food manufacturing business.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing central technical strategy, chairing Architecture Review Board activities, and providing expert direction in all technology-related decisions.

About you

  • A strategic technology leader with a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, with proven expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF and extensive knowledge of manufacturing industry requirements.
  • A proven executive with 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams, large-scale technology projects, and driving digital transformation in complex manufacturing environments.
  • An architecture expert certified in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) with deep expertise in AI & data architecture, enterprise governance, security architecture, and integration patterns relevant to manufacturing operations.
  • An industry specialist with significant experience in FMCG, retail, or manufacturing industries, with strong understanding of operational technologies, supply chain systems, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • An exceptional communicator who can articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
