Housekeeping Supervisor Job Description:

 

At Accor, we are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team at Ibis Melbourne Glen Waverley. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining high cleanliness standards and providing exceptional service to our guests.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Assistant Housekeeping Manager in the daily checking of rooms and designated team member areas to ensure compliance with our cleanliness standards.
  2. Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to guarantee they meet our hotel's cleanliness and maintenance standards.
  3. Respond to guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Optimize the use of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  5. Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure they meet our high standards.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation processes and standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Knowledge of hotel-specific cleaning procedures and safety protocols is a plus.
