Housekeeping Supervisor Role

At Ibis Melbourne Glen Waverley, we are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team and maintain high cleanliness standards. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests receive exceptional service and experience a comfortable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Assistant Housekeeping Manager in daily room checks and team member area inspections to maintain standards
  • Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our cleanliness and maintenance standards
  • Handle guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping services
  • Ensure efficient use of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and support
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation processes and standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills in a multicultural environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Knowledge of hotel-specific cleaning procedures and safety protocols is a plus
