Job Description

The Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program is a key initiative aimed at improving infrastructure safety. The program involves the implementation of wide centre line treatments, audio tactile line marking, intersection upgrades, rest areas, pavement strengthening, overtaking lanes, and upgrades to narrow structures.

This project seeks to reduce crash severity and frequency through targeted measures. The goal is to create a safer road environment for all users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professionals to ensure compliance with program requirements and industry best-practices.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement with government agencies and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and harness expertise to deliver program objectives.
  • Collaborate with the broader program teams to ensure consistency of delivery and technical practices.
  • Investigate and resolve complex engineering and contractual issues associated with the program.
  • Monitor and report on program progress through the preparation and delivery of submissions and reports.
