Job Title: Site Operation Lead

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Operation Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of operational strategies to meet or exceed business objectives.

  • Develop and implement operational plans to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff and service providers to complete assigned tasks.
  • Promote a culture of safety and zero harm throughout the site.
  • IDentify task hazards, assess risks, and implement control strategies.
  • Minimise LTI's, HEI's, and environmental incidents.
  • Meet or exceed operational availability of 99% at Yarranlea Solar Farm.
  • Complete inspections and testing as scheduled.
  • Identify condition-based maintenance needs, obtain approvals, schedule, and complete work.
  • Collaborate with other technical staff to resolve solar plant performance gaps promptly.
  • Manage site resources effectively to meet business needs.
  • Ensure all work (labour and materials) is properly accounted for by service providers.
  • Check invoicing promptly and minimize work in progress.
  • Schedule, approve, and execute tasks to meet or exceed performance guarantees.
  • Manage spares inventory, ensuring replenishment after use.
  • Improve contract management processes and work quality standards.
  • Monitor and control resource requirements to meet business needs.
  • Identify skill gaps and recommend training or recruitment.
  • Contribute to the development of Risen.
  • Manage CMMS system for job tracking and asset maintenance planning.
  • Prioritize, schedule, and support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Create asset maintenance plans in CMMS.
  • Enter OA requests and track funds in procurement systems.
  • Schedule preventive maintenance and support floor activities as needed.
  • Provide training on CMMS utilization.
  • Interact with network roles to share best practices and optimize parts storage.

Requirements:

HV Qualification/Electrical Licenses/Electrical Contractor Licenses.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders.
