Interventional Cardiology Position

Lead a dynamic team of medical professionals as an Interventional Cardiologist at Launceston General Hospital.
The RoleHead Medical is seeking an experienced Cardiologist to join the expanding team in Northern Tasmania. The department services a large population across the region and offers 24/7 cardiac care. You'll be joining a collaborative environment where evidence-based practice and team culture are highly valued.
You will deliver specialist cardiology services, contribute to quality improvement, engage in teaching, and participate in research. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work in the private sector at Calvary St Vincent's fully equipped cath lab.
RequirementsTo be eligible for this role, you must hold:
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in General and/or Cardiology, OR equivalent overseas specialist qualifications
- Experience providing high-level cardiology services in a tertiary or regional referral setting
- Proven ability to contribute to clinical governance, teaching, and service development
