Launceston General Hospital is a tertiary referral centre renowned for its interventional cardiology services.

Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Fellowship-trained Interventional Cardiologist to join our well-supported cardiology team.

  • You will be working in a collaborative unit of cardiologists and advanced trainees, with access to state-of-the-art facilities.

Key responsibilities include complex coronary interventions and structural heart work, as well as contributing to the continued growth and innovation of the department.

Requirements
  • Eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Experience in complex coronary and/or structural interventions.
  • Interest in contributing to the development of the department.
Benefits
  • Permanent position with flexible FTE options available.
  • Public hospital base salary between $216,300 – $296,640 or Senior Specialist: $300,389 – $310,389.
  • Superannuation and additional benefits including private patient scheme, vehicle allowance, CPD Allowance, relocation assistance and on-call allowance.
