Cancer Treatment Specialist

As a Radiation Therapist at GenesisCare, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality radiotherapy treatment and planning activities. This is a clinical position that contributes to the delivery of efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment and/or planning activities.
Key Responsibilities- Personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
- Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Centre and across the practice.
- Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
- Ensures that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
- Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level (treatment and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
- Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
- Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
- Bachelor degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy).
- Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
- A competitive salary estimated at $120,000 - $150,000 per annum based on location and experience.
