About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at GenesisCare.
As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment and/or planning activities of a high quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
- Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Centre and across the practice.
- Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
- Ensure that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
- Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level (treatment and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
- Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
- Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
- Bachelor degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy).
- Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
