Radiation Therapist and Cancer Treatment Specialist

As a Radiation Therapist and Cancer Treatment Specialist at GenesisCare, you will be part of this dynamic team, working towards delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes.
Job Summary:This is a clinical role that contributes to the delivery of efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment and/or planning activities. You will personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties, promoting an effective multidisciplinary team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team environment at our clinics and across the practice.
- Personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
- Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
- Ensures that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level (treatment and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques. You will also require strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
A bachelor's degree in relevant field (Radiation Therapy) and registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA are essential qualifications for this role.
