The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workforce plays a vital role in the education system, and we are committed to listening to and acting upon their voices through embedding cultural knowledge, experience, and perspectives into everything we do.

This position will require effective stakeholder engagement, project leadership capability, high-level administration, strong autonomy, and decision-making to ensure successful delivery of project and program initiatives.

Key responsibilities include coordinating and delivering on key priorities within the Aboriginal Workforce Initiatives team, developing and implementing strategies to build a culturally responsive workforce, analysing project and program outcomes to identify areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Qualifications:

  • NIL (Essential)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Desirable)

Special Conditions:

  • Working with children check prior to employment
  • Undertaking Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care Facilitator Lead extended course or online fundamentals course
