Job Title: Spare Parts InterpreterRole Overview:

The Spare Parts Interpreter is a pivotal role that requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail. This position involves working closely with customers to interpret, quote, and sell spare parts. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock levels, forecasting, and re-ordering of spare parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers in understanding and selecting the correct spare parts.
  • Provide technical information and product details to customers.
  • Manage stock levels and reorder spare parts as needed.
  • Pick and dispatch customer orders efficiently.
  • Liaise with workshop and stores staff regarding stock take levels and customer requirements.
  • Organize freight and courier services.
  • Participate in stock takes as required.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a parts department.
  • A general understanding of trucks or heavy equipment.
  • Good computer skills, including experience with manufacturer portals and online catalogues.
  • A professional, friendly attitude, and reliability.
  • A Forklift Licence (essential).
  • An LR Licence (desirable) and C Class licence (essential).
  • National Police Clearance.
  • The ability to pass random D&A screenings and pre-employment medicals.
  • Australian work rights.
