Job Overview:

The Parts Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting customers by identifying and procuring spare parts. This position requires an individual with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process customer inquiries and orders for spare parts
  2. Utilize computer applications and parts manuals to accurately identify and procure required parts
  3. Ensure timely and professional communication with customers and internal stakeholders
  4. Coordinate deliveries and supply from multiple locations to meet customer needs
  5. Proactively communicate with customers regarding order status, shipment methods, and backorders
  6. Escalate issues as necessary to ensure prompt resolution

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and spare parts identification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize competing tasks
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Experience working with computer systems and ERP software
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is advantageous
