About the Role:
As a key member of the Healthscope team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing education and training programs within our hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive nursing education courses and programs that meet the needs of our staff, graduate nurses, and students.
• Provide hands-on educational support and clinical teaching to ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Promote evidence-based nursing practices and best practices in patient care through the dissemination of current knowledge and research.
• Supervise staff compliance with mandatory training and eLearning components to ensure a high standard of care.
• Develop and maintain competency-based programs to assess and improve staff skills and knowledge.
Essential Criteria:
• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment.
• Postgraduate Certificate in a related specialty area (or working towards).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• High degree of computer literacy, including MS Office, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Desirable Criteria:
• Experience in HDU/ICU or midwifery background.
