Job Title: Shot Blaster

A leading meat processing company is seeking a skilled Shot Blaster to perform forklift duties, prepare and inspect blasted surfaces, and operate shot and sand blast machines.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in shot blasting, a current forklift (high-risk work) licence, and reliable transportation. Initiative, reliability, and enthusiasm are also essential qualities for this role.

Additional requirements include physical fitness, ability to maintain a safe working environment, and flexibility with overtime shifts.

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive pay rate of $35-40 casual, along with ongoing work and opportunities for advancement.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing forklift duties
  • Preparing and inspecting blasted surfaces
  • Carrying out duties as directed by Supervisor
  • Operating Shot and Sand Blast machines
  • Producing line operation
  • Maintaining workshop area including floor clean and tidy and in a safe working condition
  • Requirements:
  • Physically fit to perform the duties of this role
  • Minimum 1 year shot blasting experience
  • Showing initiative, reliability and enthusiasm
  • Current Forklift (High Risk Work) Licence
  • Own reliable transport
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment desired but not essential
  • What We Offer:
