Job Title: Test Lead – Aerospace, Defence

 

A highly skilled and experienced Test Lead is required to lead structured application testing for critical corporate systems in the aerospace, defence services, and manufacturing environment.

The role will drive the implementation of test management tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) Test Planning and test automation frameworks such as Selenium, ensuring repeatable, auditable, and efficient testing processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage structured testing activities for corporate systems supporting aerospace and defence manufacturing and commercial airplane fabrication and assembly operations.
  • Ensure testing processes comply with relevant industry regulations and organizational security policies.
  • Implement and promote the use of Azure DevOps (ADO) Test Planning to enable structured, repeatable, and traceable testing aligned with governance frameworks.
  • Design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium or similar tools to improve test efficiency and coverage.
  • Manage and mentor a team of junior test analysts and test automation developers, fostering a culture of quality, security, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing structured application testing in regulated industries, preferably aerospace, defence, or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of test management tools, especially Azure DevOps (ADO) Test Planning.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium.
  • Understanding of security policies and compliance requirements relevant to aerospace and defence sectors.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
