Job Title

A Senior Testing Manager is required to lead and manage structured testing activities for corporate systems supporting aerospace and defence manufacturing and commercial airplane fabrication and assembly operations.

This role will drive the implementation of test management tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) Test Planning and test automation frameworks such as Selenium, ensuring repeatable, auditable, and efficient testing processes.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing testing in regulated industries, with a focus on compliance, security, and quality standards relevant to aerospace and defence manufacturing.

  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC) in complex, regulated environments is essential.
  • Proven experience managing structured application testing in regulated industries, preferably aerospace, defence, or manufacturing, is required.
  • A strong knowledge of test management tools, especially Azure DevOps (ADO) Test Planning, is necessary.

About the Role:

This Senior Testing Manager position requires an individual who can collaborate with business units, IT, cybersecurity, and program teams to align testing strategies with operational and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to senior management and stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing methodologies, tools, and processes within the aerospace and defence context.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience working within aerospace, defence, or government contracting environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices is advantageous.
