Job Title: Lead Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Anton Murray Consulting. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading global trading firm focused on equity and equity derivative products as well as ETFs.

About the Role:

  • Provide operational support to the Operations Manager in managing the operations team of six.
  • Reconcile position and trade activity, produce nightly profit and loss estimate, and reconcile to front office.
  • Cover corporate actions and handle economic implications of flows, including operational booking and reconciling requirements.
  • Liaise with external parties to resolve any position/cash discrepancies.
  • Contribute to system improvement to streamline daily processes.
  • Run new initiatives and projects.
  • Facilitate new trade flow and relationships with traders.
  • Work with legal and compliance for onboarding new relationships.

About You:

  • 7+ years' experience working in the financial markets arena.
  • In-depth knowledge of handling trade flow through to settlement.
  • Thorough knowledge of equity and equity derivative products.
  • Operational knowledge of Asian Financial markets.
  • Proficient in Bloomberg and Excel.
  • Ability to build strong relationships internally and with Broker contacts.
  • Ability to promote new ideas and solutions.
  • Confidence to escalate issues and drive changes.
  • Maintaining organisational skills and record-keeping.
  • Ability to prioritise based on materiality and risk considerations.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
  • Analytical mindset when tackling issues.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum depending on experience.
