Job Opportunity

About This Role

  • Lead the corporate reservoir and petroleum engineering functions, delivering strategic input for asset characterisation and performance analysis.
  • Conduct pressure transient analysis (PTA) and diagnostic studies to inform business decisions.
  • Provide technical assurance discussions internally and externally to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Manage the annual reserves process to maintain accurate data and forecasts.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Lead technical assurance discussions to drive improvement and growth.

About You

  • Be a qualified engineer with over 10 years of direct reservoir engineering experience in CSG, possessing exceptional technical communication and presentation skills.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering (Master's degree desirable) and have Professional accreditation as CPEng, RPEQ; QPRRE (desirable).
  • Demonstrate proven leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary technical teams and be able to work under pressure prioritising decisions effectively.
  • Exhibit a collaborative leadership style with coaching and mentoring capabilities to drive team success.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in type well generation, analytical and numerical modelling, decline curve analysis, and economic evaluation using industry-standard tools is essential.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear narratives to facilitate effective communication and decision-making.
