Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Tax professional to join our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will have a strong background in tax law and experience working on complex transactions and disputes.

  • Represent clients in tax advisory work, providing expert guidance to implement commercial objectives.
  • Resolving client disputes through advice on risk, ATO engagement, alternative dispute resolution, mutual agreement procedures or litigation.
  • Provide technically sound and commercially informed advice on tax issues relevant to transactions and projects for clients across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities

The role involves:

  • Advising on tax matters related to transactions and projects.
  • Collaborating with other practice groups to deliver seamless, cohesive and commercially optimised advice and support.
Requirements
  • Experience in Tax, preferably at a large law firm or specialist tax practice.
  • Experience in advisory and transactional work, including audits, objections and litigation.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage smaller matters and elements of larger matters.
