About Our Portfolio Management Role

We are seeking an experienced portfolio manager to lead the management of high-risk files and work closely with our National Regional and Agribusiness teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify early warning signs of high-risk files and engage in active customer interactions.
  • Collaborate closely with Relationship, Credit Risk & Asset Management teams to drive strategic decisions.
  • Conduct thorough credit assessments and regular monitoring to support business lending initiatives.
  • Develop and implement effective customer strategies to turnaround underperforming files and maintain a healthy portfolio.
  • Provide expert insights on early-stage high-risk clients and coach Bankers and Analysts to enhance their skills.
  • Contribute to the refinement and enhancement of our proposition, processes, and systems to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Regional and/or Agribusiness banking with a focus on asset management and turnaround/insolvency.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to structure finance solutions sensibly.
  • Excellent credit writing skills and Australian working rights.
