
Automation and Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Automation and Control Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our MES automation layer and other critical automation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and improve MES automation layer and other critical automation systems
- Provide technical support for PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, sensors, drives, and advanced instrumentation
- Troubleshoot breakdowns and investigate root causes to drive long-term reliability improvements
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and process teams to optimize control and tracking systems
- Assist in implementing machine learning, vision systems, and other digital transformation initiatives
- Support system upgrades and ensure all changes are well-documented and aligned with business standards
- A degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering (or a related field)
- Experience working with industrial control systems (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA)
- Safety as a core value; understanding of legislative safety requirements
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to root cause analysis
- Familiarity with MES systems, process automation, or data-driven technologies
