We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to spearhead our procurement operations. As a key team member, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination and monitoring of all activities required for timely issue of enquiries, tender evaluation and award of purchase orders.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and monitor progress of all activities required for timely issue of enquiries, tender evaluation and award of purchase orders.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure optimal prices and deliveries for equipment to meet project technical, schedule and commercial requirements.
- Perform commercial analysis and evaluation of quotations to enable correct supplier choice.
- Develop and maintain an effective vendor data and goods tracking system on a company-wide and project-specific basis.
- Implement and monitor procurement schedules in accordance with overall delivery schedules.
- Review all orders to ensure details align with original tender requests and client-approved ATCs.
- A minimum of 6 years' experience in procurement, expediting and/or logistics disciplines, preferably within engineering or construction industries.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computerized purchasing and logistics systems, and their operation and applications.
- Strong knowledge of international and local tendering practices.
- High-level negotiating skills and problem-solving abilities.
- A proven track record of achieving consistently high standards within budgetary and schedule constraints.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
