Lead Façade Engineering Manager

As a seasoned professional in the field of façade engineering, you will be responsible for driving technical excellence and business growth across our diverse portfolio of new build and remediation projects.

You will oversee all aspects of façade engineering – from design, documentation and compliance through to project delivery – while leading and mentoring a small team of engineers. You will work closely with the Regional Manager to contribute to regional strategy, strengthen client relationships and play a pivotal role in the continued growth of our operations in Australia.

  • Lead façade engineering projects from concept through to construction, ensuring high technical standards and compliance.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring and professional development for your team.
  • Support regional strategic planning, financial management and business growth initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
  • Actively participate in industry events, networking opportunities and knowledge-sharing forums to enhance our profile.
  • Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes and project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in Civil Engineering / Architecture (or related field) with demonstrated experience in the façades industry.
  • Proven experience as a design / engineering manager within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to conduct thorough analysis before making decisions.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage design administration, compliance and documentation within identified project deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
