
Capital Planning and Infrastructure Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Principal Project Officer, State Development, Infrastructure And Planning.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team and contribute to shaping and supporting capital planning and infrastructure proposal development across government.
You will work closely with agencies and Government-Owned Corporations to ensure proposals are strategically aligned with Queensland's infrastructure priorities and meet best-practice standards.
- Engage with agencies to support the development and assurance of capital plans and infrastructure proposals.
- Provide strategic advice aligned with the Infrastructure Proposal Development Policy and Business Case Development Framework.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality feedback, briefings, reports, and correspondence on infrastructure matters.
You will also promote continuous improvement and build communities of practice to share best-practice approaches.
In this role, you will represent the department in meetings and forums, advocating for robust planning and assessment.
You will contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture, supporting colleagues and organisational priorities.
