About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Store Manager to lead our dynamic team at Shoes & Sox Warringah Mall.

As a key leader in the business, you will inspire and mentor a diverse team of footwear enthusiasts to achieve set KPIs and sales targets, celebrating successes and encouraging growth within the team.

This role operates on a Sunday-Thursday roster.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in motivating a passionate team and managing daily store operations.
  • Build and drive a customer-centric culture through leading by example and delivering excellent service standards.
  • Closely monitor store sales performance, acknowledging outstanding results and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure store presentation is immaculate through visual merchandising.
  • Take a proactive approach to loss prevention management, focusing on stock shrinkage.
  • Demonstrate a duty of care by ensuring a safe, healthy, and fit work environment, adhering to state and national OH&S legislation.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager or Retail Sales Supervisor, with expertise in training, coaching, and mentoring team members.
  • A warm and welcoming demeanor, with patience when working with children.
  • A passion for creating memorable customer experiences.
  • A proven record of driving and exceeding KPIs.
  • Experience with stock control, visual merchandising, and commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
  • Excellent time management skills and confidence in communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
