Manufacturing Operations Manager

We are seeking a leader with strong problem-solving and people skills to join our team as a Production Superintendent. In this integral leadership position, you will monitor, coordinate, and supervise production while assisting with planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Leveraging change through systematic business improvements using process optimization techniques.
- Accountability for all day-to-day functions including safety, environment, people, production, maintenance, equipment management.
- Managing and controlling costs.
- Training and development of employees.
- Providing input into and implementation of the strategic plan and direction of the area.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Chemical/Process Engineering or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing or process industry.
- Bayer process knowledge with experience working in clarification is highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Influential leadership skills with the ability to manage change.
