Industrial Coating Solutions Field Technician

Job Description

The Industrial Coating Solutions Field Technician will be responsible for servicing new and existing equipment, including performing installation, maintenance, and providing training in the Powder/Liquid/Container lines of business.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with mechanical, electrical, and electronic knowledge to perform necessary service and instruct others on maintaining equipment.

  • Support installation projects of new equipment.
  • Serve as site manager and the representative during the installation effort.
  • Supervise skilled tradesmen to construct and install all supplied equipment.
  • Communicate and resolve issues to ensure successful sign off with customer is reached.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing customers.
  • Perform system audits of supplied equipment.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of products and policies and follows procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or two-year technical certificate, or 2-4 years' experience in lieu of degree/certificate.
  • Ability to read Electrical and Pneumatic and dimensional construction drawings required.
  • Basic electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills required.
  • Experience with PLC's and robotics is beneficial.
