Intergenerational Program Developer

Job Description:

The Intergenerational Program Developer will create and establish quality programs and services in ongoing playgroups both in the community and aged care facilities. The role is primarily responsible for developing quality programs that will support parents and caregivers who have children under 5 to connect with the older generation, with the aim of bringing together the young and young at heart and to build relationships through play.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the intergenerational strategy by providing recommendations based on knowledge, experience and industry best practices.
  • Develop the Timeless Play offering across multiple delivery and engagement models.
  • Provide program recommendations to support the development of intergenerational playgroups and practice.
  • Identify and engage with relevant stakeholders, such as aged care providers, councils, government, community organisations.
  • Develop presentations, marketing collateral, webinars and training to support intergenerational expansion and service delivery.
  • Attend forums, interagency groups, expos and other relevant events to promote intergenerational programs.
  • Scope and leverage existing intergenerational resources within the playgroup network and the intergenerational sector.

Requirements:

  • Capacity to develop and implement effective programs and services.
