Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Educational Leader to lead the development and implementation of our education program.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement educational programs and assessments in collaboration with Assistant Coordinators/Coordinators.
  • Ensure children's learning and development inform the design of educational programs, and educators facilitate and extend each child's learning and development.
  • Effectively liaise with parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support educators in understanding educational programs and practices.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with policy and procedures.
Requirements
  • Hold a Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualification.
  • Have significant experience in Early Childhood Education and Care settings.
  • Possess a comprehensive working knowledge of the approved learning framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of child development, attachment, learning, and evidence-based best practice approaches to teaching and learning.
  • Working knowledge of leadership theory and the use of various leadership styles.
  • Well-developed critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities

As an Educational Leader, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of educational programs, ensuring that children's learning and development inform the design of these programs. You will work collaboratively with Assistant Coordinators/Coordinators to develop and implement educational programs and assessments, and ensure effective liaison with parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
