Training Officer

We are seeking a skilled Training Officer to provide training support to our Mobile Maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain standards, processes, procedures, and practices across site to ensure compliance with national, corporate, and legislative standards.
  • Provide support to Site Supervision personnel when required.
  • Offer continuous support, guidance, and direction to personnel and contractors for all training requirements.
  • Monitor quality of INX training data and provide LMS support when needed.
  • Conduct and review in conjunction with site Health & Safety and training teams departmental training needs analysis.
  • Continually monitor and manage training requirements of all personnel to ensure skills requirements are met.
  • Deliver high-quality training to all personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of all training, inductions, and assessments conducted using the appropriate systems.
  • Implement and maintain training needs and gap analysis in conjunction with relevant supervisors and stakeholders.
  • Support the coordination of the verification of competency process, including High Risk Work Licenses and Nationally Accredited qualifications.
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – TAE 40122.
  • HRWL FL & EWP tickets.
Desirable Experience & Competencies:
  • Minimum 3 years in a similar Training role.
  • Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Working knowledge of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
  • Familiarity with INX database modules such as InTuition.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Effective delivery of training materials to crews.
  • Mining technology and heavy production equipment.
