Trademark Attorney Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trademark Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our Intellectual Property practice, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice on trademark law and strategy to clients across Australia and internationally.

  • Australian and international trademark filing and prosecution
  • Trademark portfolio management
  • Rebranding and clearance advice
  • Drafting and negotiating consents and co-existence agreements
  • Advising on intellectual property aspects of due diligence
  • Providing support on trademark and domain name disputes

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of demonstrable experience in trademark prosecutions from a leading national or international private practice, or an in-house environment. They will also possess:

  • An excellent academic record coupled with strong legal skills and a practical mindset
  • A proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of our team
  • An ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team
  • A hunger to learn and develop, and be part of maintaining a market-leading practice
