Job Title: Mechanical Construction Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Construction Engineer to collaborate directly with customers and work closely with Sales and Estimating teams.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong background in HVAC engineering. This role does not involve design work but requires extensive knowledge of mechanical plans, specifications, and contract documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review bidding documents and handle HVAC equipment selection and pricing.
  2. Develop cost analysis spreadsheets for bidding and write technical proposals.
  3. Communicate with equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors to clarify project details.
  4. Have experience in the HVAC industry related to estimating or be willing to learn.
  5. Be familiar with HVAC systems, air distribution products, and/or temperature control systems.
  6. Prepare proposals and pricing breakdowns, evaluating equipment savings and costs.
  7. Assemble bid files, including all development information, in the CRM system.
  8. Estimate the cost of HVAC or air distribution equipment and systems for assigned bid opportunities.
