Highly Skilled Mechanical Construction Professional

This role is a critical position in our organization, requiring strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities. As a Mechanical Construction Engineer, you will work closely with customers to deliver high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and analyze bidding documents, including mechanical plans, specifications, and contract information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Select and price HVAC equipment, develop technical proposals, and create cost analysis spreadsheets for bid submissions.
- Communicate effectively with equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and mechanical contractors to clarify project details and ensure smooth execution.
- Possess experience in the HVAC industry related to estimating or be willing to acquire knowledge in this area.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, air distribution products, and/or temperature control systems is essential.
- Evaluate equipment savings and costs, prepare proposals and pricing breakdowns to provide accurate estimates.
- Assemble and maintain bid files, including all development information, in our CRM system to support estimate preparation.
- Be accountable for the cost estimation of HVAC or air distribution equipment and systems related to assigned bid opportunities.
This position does NOT involve design work.
You will collaborate directly with our Sales and Estimating teams to achieve project goals.
