Job Opportunity: HSE Officer

Atlas Recruitment Australia is seeking experienced HSE Officers to join two brand new state government projects in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site inductions and ensure personnel are aware of safety protocols
  • Review and approve SWMS for subcontractors
  • Manage and direct subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Deliver toolbox talks, conduct site inspections, and report on HSEQ using the builder's IMS system
  • Provide ad hoc assistance to the site manager, excluding heavy laboring tasks
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment
Requirements:
  • Cert IV WHS qualification
  • At least 2 years of experience in a construction OHS officer role in Australia
  • Availability to start in October
  • Understanding of IT systems, preferably Hammertech or similar
Remuneration:
  • Hourly rate of $35 to $45 inclusive of super and penalties
  • Monday to Saturday work schedule
