The Role

This is a key position responsible for managing the delivery, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support of Maximo, Asset Services Platform (ASP), and related asset management systems.

About the Position

  • Be the Project SME in Asset Management systems (Maximo/ASP), providing guidance to stakeholders about Asset Management business processes and industry best practices.
  • Act as the conduit between the Project, JHG IT, Rail & Transport for Asset Management systems.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders of the Asset Management Systems used by the project and JHG.
  • Manage the ongoing development and maintenance and security of Asset Management systems inc. ASP & Maximo.
  • Manage the delivery of fit for purpose asset management solutions and enhancements into the business.
  • Manage technology vendor relationships to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of technology.
  • Line management of, and supervision of team members in terms of day-to-day administration and allocate resources to meet agreed priorities.
  • Manage the delivery of technical system configuration changes, new deployments, including coordination of system upgrades and testing.
  • Manage the Asset Management systems(s) lifecycle management.
  • Manage end-to-end Asset Management Systems support and enhancement, including: Prioritisation of demand (enhancements and issues). Systems administration and support. End user support. Development and delivery of end user training (processes and systems).
  • Manage the development and implementation of Asset Management: information systems management strategy, objectives, change management and development of solutions.
  • Support the development and delivery of standardised asset management data sets / systems within the business.
  • Work closely with Senior Manager Rail & Technology to understand the scope of business requirements.
  • Establish and embed policies, systems and processes to support the effective and efficient service delivery.

About You

This position will ideally see you holding a degree in computing or asset management (or related field), with extensive experience in Asset Management Systems, preferably in the rail industry.

You will have significant exposure to Maximo systems implementation and administration as well as the ability to manage enterprise-wide Maximo deployments.

You will enjoy working collaboratively and be able to foster effective strategic relationships with people at all levels both internally and externally. Your ability to provide a great user experience and deliver IT solutions aligned to project requirements will see you succeed in the role.

About Benefits

We offer competitive remuneration $180,000 - $200,000 per annum, with salary continuance, and salary sacrifice packaging options available.

We also offer great leave benefits including 18 weeks paid parental leave with superannuation and up to an extra 18 weeks of superannuation paid on further periods of unpaid parental leave, multicultural leave exchange and two additional John Holland Days to prioritise health and wellbeing.
