AV Solutions Design Expert
As a key player in the commercial AV industry, we are seeking an experienced AV Solutions Design Expert to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with sales and engineering teams to craft high-quality solutions for clients.
  • Design and document complex AV systems, ensuring seamless integration with digital signage, LED, control systems, and IT/AV networks.
  • Partner with sales teams to develop winning proposals that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
  • Present solutions to clients, showcasing technical expertise and confidence.
  • Develop and refine standardized solution packages to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure smooth technical handovers to project delivery teams, guaranteeing successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and document detailed schematics and layouts using CAD software (AutoCAD/Vectorworks).
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop winning proposals that showcase technical expertise.
  • Present solutions to clients, simplifying complex technical solutions.
  • Develop and refine standardized solution packages to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure smooth technical handovers to project delivery teams.
Requirements
  • 3-5+ years in a pre-sales or solutions design role within commercial AV.
  • Strong expertise in digital signage, AV-over-IP, LED, control systems, and supporting IT infrastructure.
  • CAD proficiency for detailed schematics and layouts.
  • Proven client-facing skills and ability to simplify complex technical solutions.
  • A balance of technical excellence with commercial acumen.
  • Bonus: AVIXA CTS / CTS-D, experience with Crestron, Q-SYS, or RTI.
