We are a dynamic and innovative organization committed to providing high-quality services to our community. As an Environmental Conservation Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, welfare, and well-being of our residents.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position on a 7-day rotating roster, offering a total package from $76,817 to $101,005 per annum plus superannuation. You will be responsible for undertaking various duties, including:

  • Parking patrols and investigation of complaints
  • Patrolling beaches, reserves, streets, building sites, and footpath occupations
  • Undertaking unauthorized signs and issuing penalty notices where appropriate
  • Ensuring customer requests are thoroughly investigated and resolved using Council policies and procedures in a prompt and timely manner
About You

To be successful in this role, you will hold a Certificate IV in Local Government Governance and Administration or equivalent. You will have demonstrated experience as a Ranger in local government, including an understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.

You will also possess:

  • A current Class C Driver's Licence
  • A current First Aid Certificate
  • A current Traffic Controller (formerly Blue Card)
  • A current White Card or willingness to obtain
