Join Our Team as a Conservation Enforcement Officer

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Conservation Enforcement Officer. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, enforcing local laws and regulations to protect our community's natural resources.

About the Role
  • This is a permanent full-time position with a 7-day rotating roster.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling beaches, reserves, streets, building sites, and footpath occupations, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • You will also be required to investigate complaints, issue penalty notices where necessary, and engage with the public to promote conservation efforts.

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • A Certificate IV in Local Government Governance and Administration or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Ranger in local government, including an understanding of relevant legislation.
  • A current Class C Driver's Licence, First Aid Certificate, Traffic Controller certification, and White Card or willingness to obtain.
