Finance Coordinator Role

A pivotal position has become available with a Local Government organisation in Perth's Southern Suburbs. Our client is seeking an experienced Coordinator of Strategic Finance to join their team, working within the Local Government sector.

This role offers many benefits, including flexible work arrangements and free parking. The position is located in a convenient location, easily accessible by car or public transport.

Your New Role

The successful candidate will report to the Manager of Finance and be responsible for developing and contributing to the long-term financial plan. This includes management reporting for executives, business partnering, and developing the annual budget. You will also manage a small team of three and assist in their development and progression.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require prior experience in a similar role (senior management accounting/business partnering/analysis) along with:

  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong visualisation skills and the ability to confidently present to key stakeholders
  • Good time management and the ability to prioritise
  • Can-do, hard-working, and professional attitude
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (financial modelling) and good literacy with ERP systems
