The successful candidate will coordinate and provide professional nursing care, adhering to policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines while maintaining the highest standards of privacy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver patient-centered care, consistently meeting or exceeding expectations and following established protocols.
- In consultation with the Program Coordinator, develop Behaviour Support Plans based on sound dementia care principles, ensuring client well-being and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to complete, review, and action Care Plans and clinical assessments as required, contributing to continuous quality improvement.
- Promote client rights and interests by adhering to relevant reporting mechanisms and within defined limits of responsibility.
- Manage and report incidents, accidents, or untoward events according to established policies and procedures.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and medication endorsement.
- Proven experience in delivering high-quality care to clients, including those with complex needs and diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively as a team member to achieve planned outcomes.
- Demonstrated knowledge and competency in Microsoft Office Programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
