Job Description: As an Occupational Therapist, you'll conduct thorough client assessments to understand and address their physical needs. You'll also trial and recommend appropriate equipment to optimize client functionality, prepare and manage funding applications to secure essential assistive technology and supports, and advocate for clients' personal support needs and assist with funding applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you'll need current AHPRA registration and a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. You should have demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate caseloads independently, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving high-level outcomes for clients. Experience working with individuals with Spinal Cord Injury or physical disabilities is preferred, as is familiarity with fee-for-service environments.

Key Responsibilities: Some key responsibilities of this role include conducting thorough client assessments, trialing and recommending equipment, preparing and managing funding applications, advocating for clients' personal support needs, providing expert advice on equipment and lifestyle management, completing assessments for home modifications, empowering individuals through tailored strategies, and delivering hands-on upper limb therapy in both individual and group settings.
