Job Title: Technical Delivery Lead

A highly experienced Technical Delivery Manager is required to lead the delivery of enterprise .NET applications. The successful candidate will have a strong background in .NET and hands-on technical capability.

About This Role

This role blends technical leadership, solution delivery, and team facilitation, ensuring enterprise applications are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You'll act as both a technical lead and Scrum Master-style facilitator, guiding delivery, removing blockers, and ensuring the team achieves outcomes in a structured but agile-friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of enterprise .NET applications, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of technical streams, from requirements through to release, balancing waterfall governance with agile delivery practices.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership, guiding architecture, design, and development decisions across the team.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, backlog prioritisation, and sprint planning while acting as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate team resources, recruitment, and allocation of technical work to ensure delivery targets are met.
  • Oversee system enhancements, release management, and data migration activities.
  • Ensure engineering best practices are consistently applied across development teams.
  • Coach, mentor, and support developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations, ensuring clear communication with senior stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Technical Delivery Manager, Technical Lead, or Engineering Manager in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience in .NET Core, C#, Web APIs, and Azure (coding experience expected, even if not full-time).
  • Background in MS Dynamics CRM / Power Platform environments is highly regarded.
  • Experience delivering technical solutions in waterfall and hybrid agile environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage dependencies, and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; able to lead workshops and collaborate with senior business leaders.
  • Experience coaching teams, fostering accountability, and improving delivery capability.
