Job Role: Field Service Technician

Tesla is a leading innovator in the industry and seeks a skilled mobile technician to join its team.

The primary task involves servicing, troubleshooting, or upgrading stationary battery equipment and Tesla charging infrastructures as needed.

Candidates should be self-motivated professionals with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment defined by the service engineering team
  • Travel for extended periods to cover multiple locations
  • Perform complex electro-mechanical debug, rework, and repair
  • Operate various hand tools, power tools, diagnostic, and measuring equipment (including DMMs and oscilloscopes)

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certified Electrician (Electrical License Level 4) with current Electrical Workers Board Registration
  • Minimum 3+ years of electrical experience in the Commercial, Industrial, or Utility sector (Solar/Wind experience preferred)
  • Up-to-date Electrical Registration/Licence
  • A clear Police Check record
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and cloud-based computing programs
  • Ability to communicate and function well in a mobile office setting
  • Reliability, good initiative, commitment, and quality focus

This role requires flexibility to work outdoors, on the road, at unusual hours, and lifting up to 20-25kg if required. A valid driver's license is also necessary.
