Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a wide range of plant and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in road construction and maintenance, with experience in operating Rollers, Trucks, Watercarts, Excavators and Loaders. They will also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate mobile plant and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintain and improve Shire infrastructure, equipment and land under Shire control
  • Perform general labouring, traffic control and other associated work
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 'HC' class driver's licence or ability to obtain one
  • Demonstrated experience in safe and efficient operation of typical road construction plant and equipment
  • Willingsness, physical capacity and fitness to carry out key duties of the position including manual labour
  • Ideal candidates hold Construction Safety Awareness Training Card (White card), Chainsaw Operation Certification, Traffic Controller Certification, First Aid Certification, Work Health and Safety awareness
