Job Role Overview

The Protective Services department is embedded within the Infrastructure and Health Support Services division. Its mission is to provide a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors at our facilities by preventing crime and protecting persons and property.

As a Security Coordinator, you will lead and coordinate the operation of our Security pass office. This includes access control, key management, and business support functions for all sites.

You will work collaboratively with business units across the organization, supporting changing priorities while maintaining a flexible approach.

During complex, urgent, or emergency situations, you will be required to support front-line security operations as a uniformed security officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate access control and key management
  • Provide business support functions for all sites
  • Work collaboratively with business units
  • Support front-line security operations during emergencies

Requirements:

  • Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check
  • Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required
  • Comply with our Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy
